Duct Cleaning
Duct cleaning is important in both new and more mature homes. Fine dust collects in the duct work both during construction and over time in all duct work causing the air handling system to work less efficiently. The dust particles can also cause concerns for people with asthma and allergies and make it more difficult to maintain a clean home. Air MD uses a viper system and air collection system to clean the dust from the duct work. This proven system leaves the duct work clean and free of dirt and debris. The duct work can also be sanitized with a germicide.
When should I have my duct work cleaned? It is important in new construction if some one in the family has concerns with allergies or asthma. On average if you home has its duct work cleaned every ten to twelve years is a good rule of thumb. More often if you have pets.
