Dust down Procedure
The dust down procedure is done to collect the fine dust from dry wall and other building materials used in the building process. This fine dust floats in the air and is circulated through the home by the air handling system for six to eight months or longer after the home is completed. Dust particulates can cause allergy and asthma concerns. The dust down procedure is preformed using a 2500cfm air scrubber that scrubs the air particulates down to .3 microns in size. A 175 psi air hose is brought in to blow the fine dust out from under trim off ledges etc forcing it to go into the air which then allowing the air scrubber to collect the fine dust and other particulates from the air. This procedure along with duct cleaning to remove the fine dust from the air handling system leave you home free of dust and much easier to clean.
